IN THE YEAR 2525

Photobucket

The first and only hit from 60´s folk rock duo Zager & Evans (Danny & Rick, respectively) was the futuristic, almost apocalyptic tale "In The Year 2525 (Exordium & Terminus)". It was covered by many artists after, most notably neo romantic new wave group Visage in 1983. The song made the 2001 Clear Channel Memorandum after the 9.11. attacks. The memorandum was a list of songs deemed inappropriate to play on the radio after the twin towers incident. But since we´ve had time to mourn, we can enjoy it now.
