One of the best things about 2008, along with the revival of disco, was Quiet Village´s stellar album Silent Movie. Made up of Radio Slave and "master crate digger" Joel Martin Quiet Village made a beautifully understated and portentous album.
That´s my two cents on the whole "best of 2008" fad.
