STRANGER IN THE CITY

I have had a blog break now for a while, because my macbook has been on the friz. It`s not well yet, so I`m blogging from my shitty pc that turns itself off without warning.

Anyways I`ve been listening to this great song from singer/songwriter John Miles for some time now. Many of you are probably familiar with it because edit master Pilooski did an edit of it a few years ago. I enjoy the original version more though, so here it is in all its 1976 glory.

My good friend Me Are The World made this edit of the classic 80`s Norwegian pop hit by Åge Aleksandersen. I must admit that I had a hand in the songs conception, I`m the father and Me Are The World is the mother who bore it in his womb for 9 moths(or two weeks in this case).

BEYOND THE WIZARD´S SLEEVE

I continue to stay excited about Erol Alkan and Richard Norris´ side project Beyond The Wizard´s Sleeve. They have graced these pages before in mix form, and now they do so again. This time is also a live mix, it was recorded in July of 2007 at G-Mex in Manchester and features the usual psych rock goodness.
